Well since talking is something that we do ALOT of, I would venture to say that I am not overly suprised! And this is alot more fun and alot quicker than reports and case filings etc etc etc!

Actually, I think that the Government single handedly keeps the paper industry in business.

My department, about 7 years ago, went "completely paperless". The patrol officers write everything on the computer and submit it. Then I, as a detective, have to print it out about 4 or 5 times, then print a final copy to submit to the DA office. I think we go through more paper now than ever! Perhaps the paper loads delivered by semi-truck was my first clue. I am a defective after all.

Hahaha, man I wish we were paperless. I hate writing incident reports. Funny thing is, all the surrounding townships are paperless with the latest technology. But here in the city, were stuck in the 80's:(

You might count yourself as lucky..........the records management system (RMS) that we use is HORRIFIC for user interaction. I have used it for about 14 years through its various developments and have been asked to help develop the new interfaces.....but since they dont listen it still sucks!

Welcome.....i certainly have no problem handcuffing, but if I am the one to intubate someone, there is something SERIOUSLY wrong! Lets hope that we dont have to find out if those basic first aid classes I took come in handy! LOL
