does it say tilt????? if you want tilt steps request and i will add them when i get the time with all the apps that you need.
i have been trying to do this but have been getting a communications error during the rom update utility ver. 3.16.4.2 and then it goes into recovery mode, but i never need to recover because the phone boots fine. it does bring up the percentage bar on both the pc and the phone, what could be the problem?
well what phone do you have???? have you unlocked the phone??? what rom are you trying to flash???? come on bro we need the details to help you...... and also if you follow the steps you will be fine..... these are step by step and dont understand why this is such a hard process......
sorry, i have the mogul and i was trying to install take 3 enhanced... i started with Titan_Radio_ROM_3[1].42.30 the .exe and had the same error. It seems like its communicating and it brings up the % bars on both the pc and phone but stays at 0% and then after about a min or two it comes back with a communications error. i also tried the titan unlocker and it does the same thing (hard-SPL-MFG). i followed the instructions even tried the sd card way and it sits there with a loading... on the screen i used a 512mb sd card formatted fat32 with only the Titan_Radio_ROM_3[1].42.30 nbh file on it it was named TITAIMG.nbh. i admitt i dont have much experience with these phones, but i do have over 20 years in the computer and networking field.
try to do a hard reset than try it and see what it does.
if you unlocked your still fine........ and you said bigjews rom so you have a touch correct? and what do you mean the the nbh has a mogul on it..... big jew nbh is for a touch not a mogul?
I know that much. When i went through the steps it said do download the RUU file for the touch, unzip, place .nbhj file in the RUU folder and then run the installer. When I did that a picture of the mogul came up on the installer.
As far as the unlocked thing I was unlocked when I flashed the HTC Rom update. Does that mean I am still unlocked?
no you dont unlock for flashing stock roms....... and you shouldnt.... if you do a search on google for blank ruu you will find it also.... it shouldnt show mogul but since it does it prollly wont work because of the enter bootloader aspect and all.
I was unlocked already cause I did the gps update before the official update cam out. I will see if I can find a blank RUU from google. Do I need to reunlock since I flashed the official release from htc's website???
naw on a touch you will always be unlocked.
OK, cause it doesn't say cokeman anymore on the startup. Also, if you could help find the RUU it would be awesome. Maybe post a thread with this program in it so other dummies like me can find it better.
