Here's what's on the menu today...
Today I'm serving up an HTC Touch Pro 2 ROM, based on Windows Mobile 6.5. The current build number and date can be seen in the title of the thread.
I build my ROMs with four main goals.
I preconfigure a lot of things in my ROM, because when I flash it on my phone, I want it ready to go, how I'd want it. So, expect the backlight to be set at the maximum brightness, the ringtone, sms/email and other notifications to already be set. Doing it this way, makes for a nice ROM that's ready out of the 'box'.
You will find a new ROM posted here every few days, as I always update them with the latest "ingredients" that come down the pipe, from either Microsoft or HTC. Because of that, I recommend learning to backup your settings with either Sashimi or UC (User Customization). I also provide an example script to use to save your email settings in one of the posts below.
You will find TWO core versions of my ROM.

If you don't see the ROM in the download directory, it either means I haven't uploaded it OR I'm not making one for the current release yet.
Please don't ask in the thread when it's going to be uploaded or when I'm going to make one. It'll be there as soon as I can get it out

- Smoothness, consistency and good aesthetics
- Stability through private beta testing before public release

- The 21864 Build is from the OEM COM2 Tree and is the most reliable and bug free release. I recommend you start with this first!
And...
- The 23081 Build that's the latest in the 6.5.1 series with the Start/Close buttons at the bottom. These builds are not as stable but they reflect the latest cutting edge technology from Microsoft.

- "Release quality" 23071 ROM
- Action/Contacts softkeys not skinned problem outside Manila fixed
- Send button and graphics missing problem in Email/SMS client fixed
- Volume control doesnt go off the screen anymore
- Checkboxes and radio buttons skinned as well now
- There is a task manager in the ROM. press and and hold the start menu graphic to access it
- Sizing issues with the phonecanvas addressed
- 23016 version... unchanged.
October 11th, 2009:
- Footprints can now be added through the Album
- Album 3.2 incorporated back in
- SMS keyboard bug fixed
- Wifi turn on/off bug fixed
- New Start Menu layout
- Removed System folder and rearranged items on start menu

October 2nd, 2009 (First 'Photon' ROM)
- Advanced WifI settings now showing mac address fixed
- My Location now works on 3G as well (make sure to use the latest radio available from latest Tmobile UK ROM ver 49.)
- Better handling of clock and timezones
- Fixed issue with picture assignment to favorite contacts in Manila
- Some new icons throughout start menu
- Rearranged items in Settings to more "stock" locations
- Added "Device Lock" to system, to be used as a shortcut for faster locking in the app of your choice (like Manila's homescreen)
- Fixed issue with having to tap the screen to start manila
- Phone Identity and "About" display fixed in "Device Info" screen
- Nice icon at the bottom of the dialer to bring the dialpad up or down
- New theme by gregorz (the awesome individual that develops the Dusk theme)
