Oh nice 22, I just got me a Taurus 9 mm........I'll have to post a pic of it, beautiful gun, nice woodgrain handles, and very accurate!!! I got my concealed permit awhile back, love guns.........had a bersa 380 before that, but the dang bullets are like non existent around here now for 380's, so had to trade up........lol.

Re I showed you mine Now show me yours

I grew up with rifles & shotguns. A few years ago, I decided carrying around my big sticks was a little impractical. So, I decided to test the handgun waters with a cheap buy.

After researching for a while, I decided on a Hi-Point .45.

I figured, at the price they sell 'em at, if I didn't adapt well to handguns, no big loss. If I did, most of the reading I'd done on them suggested they were decent, not great, guns.

That was about 3 years ago. I have yet to replace my Hi-Point. It's big, heavy, and coyote ugly. But, the aim is as true as any handgun I've shot since, and with well over 1000 rounds through her, she's only jammed once. That jam came after I'd foolishly put three boxes of ammo through her w/o cleaning & really without letting her cool off. Plus, too, and also, it was cheap re-pack ammo.

I'd post a picture, but like I said... it's ugly.

Okay, okay...

Hi-Point's .45. "The Brick," I call it. Actually, I refer to it by a specific woman's name for very specific reasons which I won't share here... LOL... sorry... chuckling to myself.

Aside from my very positive review of the gun above, the one and only negative thing I'd add is that the clip release button is easy to hit on accident until you've spent some time with the gun.

Anyhoo... here she is...
