HI GUYS I TAKE NO CREDIT FOR THIS THEME FOUND ON XDA LINKS BELOW
This theme port is a mesh of Cyanogen's theme template, this theme
) posted by parmenti who used elements from Aero [ultra spikey] and Gloss Suite [moonsspoon] and added elements of his own. I created a custom boot screen. Thanks to Temporizer for making HAL's eye "pulsate"! And much thanks to Ohsaka for pointing me to this thread
allowed me to fix the "invisible" notification messages in the status bar. Special thanks also goes out to sir*mez of the PrOdigal_SuN team for providing the XML files needed for the 5x4/6x3 app drawer. I've had a lot of help on this theme. There are some pretty wonderful people in this community always willing to help.
PLEASE READ THE FAQ AND TO DO LISTS AT THE END OF THIS FIRST POST BEFORE POSTING QUESTIONS OR ISSUES. IT MAY SAVE YOU LOTS OF TIME IN SEARCHING AND KEEP YOU FROM BEING REPRIMANDED BY OTHER USERS FOR ASKING QUESTIONS THAT HAVE ALREADY BEEN ANSWERED. LET'S TRY TO KEEP THIS THREAD FRIENDLY. WE'RE A COMMUNITY AFTER ALL.
I've ported it for Cyanogen's 1.5r2 v3.6.5. I've got it running on my phone now. So far no problems. Well, there was one problem. I was running the Hero theme. Be sure to remove this theme before you try to install another theme. I got Force Closes all over the place. I keep a baseline install of the ROM with apps installed and configured and swap partition set up just in case I have to fall back. I'm posting the screenshots I have. I also customized the boot screen with Temporizer's help. If enough people want the original Android boot screen, I'll post a version with that. Just let me know. Please be patient when asking for support. I have a full time job, an expensive boyfriend and a kid.
The above images are my home screen. There are widgets included in this theme. On screen five, the internal and SD memory widgets are included. In the screen below, the toggle widgets on the top row are all included. (These are cool, but I use Toggle Settings (Cupcake) to toggle as I keep it in the notification bar so it is available even if I'm not on the home screen.)
EDIT: Lots of questions about widgets. Here goes:
Screen 1
HAL boot screen (included in theme...pulsating eye...static image only available in v1.0...if enough people want it back, I'll make it available for each version)
Screen 2
I used BetterBookmarks (free market app) to create the Wells Fargo link. Got the TuneWiki player widget on there. The rest are just app links.
Screen 3
All app links.
Screen 4
Everyone wants the weather/clock widget. This is a paid app in Android Market called Weather Widget - Donate that costs $1.49. It's worth the money, guys. There are free skin downloads and it seems pretty easy to skin it yourself. Also, you can change the skin without removing and re-adding the widget by firing up the app. On the bottom row, worth noting, is the shortcut to the Lock 2.0 app. I have the Donate version, not the free version. There is a free version. Very cool lockscreen app. Allows me to use the default notification bar, which lets me still pull it down when the phone is locked. Also, you can slide to unlock and it's skinnable. I also have a link to Dialer, just because sometimes I want to go right to it. The rest are contact links I created using BetterCut (paid app in the market), but you can also just create contact links.
Screen 5
Google Search, Starred Contacts live folder, Internal Memory, SD Memory and Voice Text widget. (Voice Text is a paid app in the market). The rest are all app links. And yes, that is CoPilot Live GPS navigation software. I sprang $35 for it in the market. Now I have a portable GPS system. AWESOME! (Yeah, I sang that in a joyous high pitch.)
Screen 6
All app links.
Screen 7
App tray.
Screen 8
This is from Cyanogen's ROM...just included here so you can see that the Reboot Phone option is available.
Alternate Home Screen
BT, Brightness, GPS and WiFi toggle widgets (all included in this theme). Internal and SD memory widgets also included in the theme. Starred Contacts Live folder and TuneWiki Playlists Live folder. The rest are contact links I created using BetterCut (paid app in the market), but you can also just create contact links.
Notification Bar
I use two apps that show on the left side of the notification bar always. One is Toggle Settings (Cupcake). This is a free app available in the market that enables me to change phone settings for various things like WiFi, Bluetooth, GPS, 2G/3G, etc from any screen as long as I can see the notification bar. Very cool app that I wouldn't want to be without. The other is Weatherbug. I like this one because it keeps the weather in the notification bar so I can always see it. Plus I think it may be more accurate than my weather/clock widget. May have to test that to see which one is better.
As near as I can tell, all of the features of the ROM are still intact. I can still pull down the notifications bar when the screen is locked. Still have the Reboot option. Still have the special Settings screen that shows SD card secondary memory. I'm happy to make it available as a download, but remember, I'm not in the business of supporting extra stuff. And by support, I mean I don't want to answer questions about how to flash the ROM, how to install a radio, how to change out icons. All of these questions have answers (lots of answers) elsewhere. Please try to keep this thread on topic as it gets hard to find information if things get out of hand. (Those who followed the first JACHero thread know this all too well.) If you need off-topic help, PM me. I'll respond as soon as I can.
You can download the theme at. (Remember to rename this file to update.zip and place in the root of your SD card. Then you should just be able to boot into recovery to apply the theme.) Download links for older versions of this theme are available in the change log (2nd post).[/QUOTE]
