to be honest, the windows folder wouldnt make much of a difference i feel on this device. on the mogul yes, but not the touch, the real test is to run a 3d (lots of memory) game. I would try that. HTC performance is not a necessity any more (thats my opinion) on the touch.

I had the same issue as above posters in finding the performance setting - start/settings/system/perfomance was not an option to select

soft reset - then it appeared

You always should soft rest after loading a new app or modding your appearance of your phone. Most time it needs it to take affect on the phone.......

has anyone ever had a problem running at 624 because i run 520 to be safe but i noticed when i started using this my battery life increased and was hopping by bumping up to 624 it would help even more

I have never had a problem with it ever , and it make your phone run smoother and faster. Go ahead try it out wont hurt your phone....

ok i was just wondering cause theres a note on in the program that says "Overclocking to 624Mhz may cause random lockups,"Whitescreen" issue,a damage to the device with a warranty loss"

but you say you dont have ne problems n i know dash already previously said he runs at 624Mhz and if he said nothings happen his word is golden so screw it,plus i work for alltel and i know how they are with the warrantys they just give it so i guess ill risk it lol

Re: HTC* Performance (overclocking)

Hi and first I want to thank you for this app! I read the entire thread before installing. I have tried both the 520 & 624 settings and each are very slow when attempting to view flies in the Windows folder. I did a soft reset & appears the program did nothing. I have a HTC Touch (Qualcomm 7500) with 400 Mhz speed. Any assistance would be appreciated. Thanks!

Well I guess my Qualcomm processor is the problem. It apparently locked my iContacts whereas I could not make a call from just touching the number in the directory. Removed the program and everything is back to normal. I wish I had the same positive experience as many of you did. Any insight would be appreciated.
