Motorola Droid and HTC Droid Eris aren't strong on Exchange mail support, security, and configurability -- all needed for business use.

Question.....Did you get the droid from vzw? I took a look at it and really did not play around with it too much but I did not like the way it felt at all. Maybe it just me or maybe I should take a look at it again......The slide part I did not like and it is a big phone.

My motorola droid will be here Tuesday, I ordered online to save the 100 rebate, lol, but I played with it extensively in the store before ordering, I LOVE IT and can't wait for it, as far as being a "big phone" it's thinner than my TP (I think?) and I love the big screen like the iphone kinda thing, easier viewing of emails and web pages if you ask me? That's just my opinion though, I'm sure that big of a phone isn't for everyone.

I didn't like the Eris simply b/c it DOES NOT have the keybrd slide out, and never been a huge fan of "track ball" navigation, so I didn't like that about it either. I require a keyboard to fall back on IF I don't absolutely fall in love with the onscreen keyboard, lol.

I have the motorola droid, and there is nothing that this device cant do. i cant stop downloading apps, games, and new softwware. all the free stuff or course. but i am just amazed at what it can do. i am controlling itunes with it as if it were a remote. i and controlling vlc media player as if it were a remote. downloading music (free). putting all my card on the little keyring. it is nothing less than the best phone out there
now... it is a bit heavy. but for what your getting its well worth it.
3.7in screen. 5mp camera w/dual flash. full keyboard, fast browser. navigation. loud speaker phone. hd like movies. i was thinking about getting an iPhone. and saw the commercials for the droid and figured that i would save my money. and its true. Droid Does! before you pick a phone pick a carrier. verizon is the best and pairing it with the droid is magical. if you had it. youd love it. did i mention that it was less than 200 with a 16gb memorycard. i love itunes and the iphone. but i just need more. so with the droid you get that. and i got the droid for its potential. even if nothing more mounts from this its still a HELL of a paperweight!

DrOid DoES!
lol
