[TUTORIAL] How to Install TF3D Themes

Crazay, thanks first of all for the post. I am not what I'd consider a noob, but not a vet like you either. I had a Touch that I did several mods to and never a problem. I just upgraded to the Touch Pro 3 days ago, installed the Mighty ROM and Diamond config from your link. I made a theme file in my storage card, found a couple .theme files I liked and put them in there. I went to settings/today as you described, disabled TF3D. I even did a soft reset to be sure, went to the TF3D config app, appearances and nothing is in the drop down box. I clicked on path in the upper RH corned, found storage card, themes folder where I am storing the .theme files in and will show the folder with the name of the theme, but when I try to open that folder to gain access to the .theme file, it won't open. The only way I can change a theme is with a .cab file. WTF am i doin wrong man, this is not rocket science, lol and you tutorial was very easy to read. School me man

Ok so when your in Diamond config and you picked storage card , then you selected the theme's folder then hit ok. If you select that folder it wont open. You must highlight it click ok and it will take you back to page where is says path in upper RH corner. Click on it the .themefile should drop down of theme you want to apply.

Yep pretty much... thats how it goes w/ every theme install... but id suggest uninstalling the theme if its a cab install first and soft resetting ... if its a .theme install using a TF3d config tool... select the option to revert to default tf3d... its not necessarry, but it will assuradly prevent any glitches from happening like different elements from old them show in the new one etc... this is rare, but it has happend on occasion

im still lost im a complete noob to the max just got the phone and im lost i got the config tool and i got somethems i just cant put it all together help ......
 
yeah i have the configure tool and i have some themes but like when i try to get themes on the configure tool nothing is there nothing happens ive already removed the thing that is said to remove when you download the configure tool still no luck also i got some themes on my phone but dont know why when i open them nothing happens am i doing something wrong oh also do i need winrar on my phone cause im looking on google to download it with no luck let me know thanks

i had this same problem, but is not the application, is us. this is what you do:
open diamond tf3d configuration
on the bottom hit appearance
on the top hit path
if you have the themes on your sdcard, double click on storage card
now find the folder where you have your themes in, and click on it
now hit okay on the left bottom
now it will take you back to the select theme screen
hit that little arrow aiming down
select your theme of choice
hit apply.

there you go bro.
 
yo thanks alot bro got it too work you guys are life savers man also one more thing do i do the same with thottle locks

whats the problem with throttle lock, better yet, make a thread in the support area and i will help you. we dont wanna get of topic on my boy's thread.

Also, Have y osted a member introduction yet as per forum rules. there you cn ge all the info and need to know on ur device, and the site, so al ur basic need to knows are met, like, winrar/pocket rar and how to skin apps etc... through the links and such provided by staff and other members... thanks
