TweaksCabsHacks OMy

Ya i found that cab over at xda-developers.....I looked into the cab and I guess they made a shortcut to remove it.....It may have been created a while ago and may be a rework off an oder version of manila....i'll take a look into the newer versions of manila and try to replicate the no dotted lines to work with the newer version..... thanks for the info.

what u need to do is install ur theme the way ur gunna want it and then install the cab for the NO DOTTED LINES.. same goes for the calendar cab.

**also one other thing..u will need to continue to reinstall after installing every NEW theme..

haha i forgot our whole ordeal last night about the no dotted home....i was outta of it last night....but ya like nine said it needs to be installed last when u install a new theme....or at least needs to be installed after the intial theme is installed....but the calendar need to be installed last.

Code:
http://rapidshare.com/files/207700054/Sprint_Update_Profile___PRL.cab

i know it was posted here (AMJ) somewhere, but i try looking for it and couldn't find it. i believe it is a good cab. for those running custom roms that dont have the prl update option. thanks.

If you uninstall the battery hack cabs will it change the reg values back to what is built into the rom?

Please help

Ok, so what I am looking for (found monday but cant find again) is a registry hack that allows the phone to sync with the cell towers every 1-3 seconds instead of every 5-7 seconds. I came across this cause someone was complaining about missed calls so someone figured out how to edit the registry to check the tower more often so this wouldn't happen and now I CANT FIND IT?!?!?! SAD FACE

Any thoughts from my fellow AMJ Junkines?

its not a registry hack, you have to manually do it with ##codes using your dialer....you change your tower intervals......go all the way down to 0 and you will see the difference.....enter in ##778#....edit(you will need your msl) and go down to accolc.....and change from default 7 i think to 0......let us know if you get it or not.

yup but the default is two and it is called the slot cycle index aka sci

Hey taylor... just wanna make a quick request/eminder for myself to search and post tomorrow if you havent found it yet...

Async Killer... its a perfect cab for this thread... the force kills Active sync tasks except for when tetherd... because I always find it running on my TP, even when i force it close, and it kills me... and my baterry

Thanks D/\SH and TaylorAMJ. its funny you posted this cause last night I woke up at like 2 in the morning all hella thirsty and it randomly popped into my head that it was not a registry but a msid hack lol. Thanks for this still.

19-FIX THE SLOW RINGER

To do this, you will need your MSL, which only Sprint (or your provider) can provide you. Open up the phone app and dial ##778# (PST). You will be asked to enter your MSL. Enter it, and you will be brought into the provisioning of your phone. From the top left, select Modem Settings. On this page, your Slot Cycle Index (SCI) is how often your phone polls the tower for incoming calls, etc. This value is 1.28 seconds multiplied by 2^value (i.e 0=1.28 secs, 1=2.56secs) with 0 fastest, 7 slowest. The default is 2, but lowering it to 1 hasn't noticeably affected my battery life, and roughly 2.5 second (SCI 1) response time is far more reasonable than roughly 5 seconds (SCI 2)

lol... no prob... just got on and the first thing i did was dl... ill test it first and if alls well, ill post later tonite... if not... ill let you know

i used to have issues with activesync do i did the "fake account" trick

open a new push account, fake email, fake password, fake address, etc. unselect any options to sync and when it done you should be able to access the schedule option which was greyed and unable to access. choose manual syncing so it wont pop up again after it closed and you are free of activesync

worked like a charm for me, just close activesync after boot and never see it again :glasses1:
