[HTC-PRO] Updated August 4th Touch Pro CDMA Radios 12 Included

what's the difference in flashing a ruu vs. exe? checked the flashing guide on dash's sig with no luck. i would like to try the new sprint radio. and with the question i mean how to not results plz & thnx

it odesnt matter they do the same thing..... the exe is like the stock roms and the ruu is just an unpacked exe file....

The latest Sprint radio has been working great here in the Tri-State area of Az/Nv/Ca, loving it, no dropped calls and the quality sounds great. Thanks

Ive been on that same radio here in wildwood ,nj and id have to say the battery life with this has been amazing thanks for the radio guys ,the signal pretty much the same as the old one .Going to try out the telus radio now see what i cn do with that

look in the flashing guide..... it will be under the stock to stock or the custom to stock.... just plug in and connect to asctivesync or device center and than double click and foll=wot he steps.... you must be unlocked already though.
ahh, and just when i thought i was inching my way towards the exit door of the noob room, i get blasted (possibly something like supes "pimp hand") and told to go sit in the corner!
here i think maybe put the exe in the ruu folder and change something..........no stupid, just plug in your phone and click the exe. i did read the flashing guide 1st, i just over looked it cause i was looking for a big title and it was half a sentence.

ahahhahahah its no worries we all learn somewhere and at least you didnt get flamed for it like over at ppcgeeks and at least you got the answer lmao..... let me know if that works for you.

i tell you what idk if its energyrom or what but 1.12 sucks in upstate ny. freezes and cnstantly loosing calls. i switched back to 1.11 and all went away...im staying away from 1.12

really? damn i have had no troubles with the radio what-so-ever...... might just be the area not playing nicely as you said.

I live in buffalo, ny and Ive had a great run with 1.12. I almost always have 3-4 bars ev and anytime i make a phone call i have 6 bars almost all the time. My battery life has been great to say the least and havent had any dropped calls at all! But Im on NFSFANS110 rom, so maybe it is the nrg rom. I flashed over from the latest telus when1.12 first came out and have had much better experience with this radio.

v1.12 sucks the life out of the battery for me, along with slower EVDO. I was hoping for an improvement....and i'm back on 1.11

one major thing was if i was on ev with no signal and made a call it wouldn't switch to 1x..... then it hang up switch to 1x maybe work. sometimes said call can not be completed now. would actually go into flight mode. soft reset fixed that.... flashed to 1.11 and so far so good.

i'll have to agree that the 1.12 sprint is horrible on battery life. i think i could actually watch the bar get shorter and shorter. glad i tried this on rom i've been running rather than flashing rom & radio. that sure would've shortchanged the next rom i try. latest telus or verizon work the best for me on the west to way west side of detroit.

really? telus was nice but there are many in detroit that say the sprint newest works fine and worked great when i was done there.....

i feel you bro i ran the newest sprint radio up in seattle and it only lasted a day with me as i hated it it never got signal 0/1 Bars and when it did right when i thought maybe it was warming up or droped to none also i dont know if it's me only but it tweeked out some of my apps as far as stuff like skyfire and twikini they would not open all the way up on this radio? skyfire would try but it would say connecting then it would just flash back to my today screen and as far as twikini it just kept giving me a error anyway i went back to the verizon 1.03.09 and i have no complaints!

is there a chance the the radio/rom combination has an affect on battery life. i was on nfs and went through a few radios. 1.12 was horrible. i noticed the difference right away. then i went to nrg rom and it was laughable. i now have nrg with the latest telus and battery life is much improved. i'm anywhere from right outside the city, detroit, all the way to wixom/brighton area. 1.12 was a joke. but dash says it was good around the d so what gives? like maybe does the rom dash is using work better with the 1.12? or mr. freephone have a special hookup for radio connections? :)
