I was promised free touch pro

man i want a pro. congrats to all the peeps that got a pro. maybe i should try my luck. been with sprint for almost 4 years. have 4 lines. but i havent renew my contract. i wonder if they would give me a pro for free.

the way i got a td i got to keep my vogue. ill probably use it, i guess, as a back up or activate it on another sero lines of mines.

tomm is the big day.. if i this fails ill b ok with the td. i just hope i get a hell-of a deal or an even trade. im not paying anything over $100.
anybody have any advise on what i should do/say? my problem was posted a bit earlier in this thread.

You would have to be really persuasive and get to retentions.....it is based on revenue....if you have four lines and bring in a lot of money for them....and threaten to leave when ur contract is up, u might have some luck.....but u really need to explain why the mogul isn't doing what it is supposed to....due to factory defects or something
 
wait no, im going to call after TP's are back in stock on sprint.com ..i have a million notes on my account that it shouldnt be no problem to pick up again where i left off.

[INFORMATION]Hi, I was wondering if it was possible to get a swap for the HTC Touch Pro phone because I am having a lot of issues with my HTC Touch such as freezing while trying to answer calls, text message lagging and screen becoming unresponsive while typing to the point where I have to restart my phone to make it work again, Random freezes while running nothing at all, Have to restart multi times a day for it to work correctly, The worst is the freezing while trying to answer calls especially if it is a work related call.
I also had these problems with my Mogul that I had before this, and before that I had 6 Q9c's and they ALL had problems plus having dust inside them and I took them to a repair center and the tech said to replace them because the dust will get inside and mess up the hardware to the point where it will totally break the phone so I havent gotten a working phone and I have just dealt with this because I didnt wanna go threw the trouble of exchanging yet again but now it is to the point where I need a new phone and I was wanting the HTC Touch Pro because it has a hardware keyboard so I shouldnt have all these freezes while texting so much.

How did you get your TD without swapping your Touch?

I went to a sprint store to try and get a newer vogue (mines is scratched up on the sides) and told them that my phone has always been dropping calls. They turned me away by saying they "fixed" the problem. I never returned. Then maybe a week or so ago I got a courtesy call from sprint (arent i lucky?) asking if i was enjoying service or if I had any problems. What happen was basically in this order:

Dropping calls, horrible store service, rep/tech/retentions/whomever it was apologized, "can I get a new phone and not a refurb?", "can i have the updated version of the touch?", only paid overnight shipping of $12/14.

And now I have a TD and a spare Vogue. It just sucks that they were out of stock of TPs (and I think they still are). I will give getting a TP another try and see what happens once they are back.

Oh and btw, I have TEP on my plan. I'm guessing it helps if you have complete insurance.

Lucky you haha.. I emailed Sprint and then just flat out say your screwed and that I cant get a TP for my Touch.. I replied by saying I have TEP and I dont want a new Touch and get more problems

type up a nice long letter :> have they ever messed your bill up? if so how often do they? trust me i know the key words to say since i work for sprint :>

They charge me every month about 3 bucks for a game on a phone that is my mom's on our plan.. she doesnt even know how to download a game.. and the game is NOT on her phone but we pay for it.. its been happening for like months... its racking up lol
finally i got the game charge off by going into the content manager on her phone and it said we payed for it but we didnt and we have told them but yeah.. so thats a mistake because we didnt do it.. its a huge one... but lets see.. they have messed up a LOT of times but usually i just call and they take it off.. like there was a data charge for 70 bucks on a line that had unlimited data and the lady told me i would be fine using data the day i took the plan off (before i took it off) and then i got charged...
oh and i have had 6 bad Moto Q's all with dust inside that the tech said to even swap out because it will mess up the processor if it gets deep inside.. before they gave me my Touch because of it...
Umm... They took picture mail off my account without asking me once.. (We got them to take my data bill in half.. and they said I would not loose features but instead they took off TV, Pic mail, and Music store without telling me)
