**ANNOUNCEMENT** Opera 9.5 Official Beta is announced for the 15th (or 17 as now im hearing) so keep an eye out cuz it will be available here as soon as its released

this happen to anyone else? when i open the new opera i get no splash no boot screen for the program, its just a blank white square but its showing that it is loading. the app works fine just that start up is weird

actually, no bro, there are some sweet new graphics in this build, looks great!!!!!
the first thing i noticed is that the sip change looks like it doesnt work off the bat, you must change to your third party on screen keyboard when you open the app if you want to use it cuz it opens the stock one automatically, and it stays in text wrap mode even in overview mode, details that hopefully will be fixed in the next beta

even with those details its still the best one so far, smooth flick scrolling, quite faster, but still a memory hog

this is AWESOME but there are two problems.
1)HOw do you view AMJ in like a PC
2)I cant get my keyboard to stay, it always switches back to the stylus one on it own

1) put opera in PC mode. :)

2) you have a touch? if you already have it set as your default keyboard it should work fine, you may have to edit an option in opera or something or MAYBE its a glitch.. :D

Would this be faster than the regular browser that comes with my Sprint service.. is there that much of an advantage?

I would'nt say nescessarily faster but you get full internet pages instead of some of the mobile sites you get with IE.

since i am missing the opera startup splash screen! how would i be able to get it? i hate that when it opens its just a little blank white box

i actually got mine over at ppc geeks so i will uninstall and get the one from this fourm, which is the right link for me

this joint is crushing my memory. I guess its time to go custom on the rom huh? I still have the stock. I use to run opera fine on the stock. Must be tapped out.
