alright im flashing to the new telus...thanks dash and elboriyorker.........

its been a long day, i read this 4 times..Telus 1.07.06f ..that is the new telus even though it says uscellular herman on the download...

I was under the impression that they were seperate and that uscellular and telus both just had radios with the same 1.07.06f and that uscellular was attatched under the attatchments and that you had to go up top to get the telus one.

That goes without saying that I don't know if they are identical or not.

humm........any guidence on which one is which? I've downloaded both version of USCell and I want to make sure I flash the telus one.

and BTW, when compaired next to eachother in explorer, they are identical with the same file names and sizes.

when i went to flash the new telus, the image version in the rom utility says v1.00.000

Ok, both the US Cellular and Telus Radios(v1.07.06f) show v1.00.000 when I tried to flash either/both of them to my TP.

Usually the image version shows the Radio version, so I have NOT flashed the radio because of this above. Or is this a "glitch" and after flashing the radio shows the proper radio number?

As I said above I'm running Sprint v1.11.00, but maybe BigJew can provide some advice here, which is:"

Which radio is better for Central Florida, Sprint v1.11.00 or Telus 1.04.05? I've read numerous posts and the results are mixed at best.]

As a side note I've ran radio v1.11.00 and the stock radio and both drop out and have dead zones in the identical places. But the battery life seems better with v1.11.00.

sometimes u cant go by what some one else has or says, u should try em out and compare by your own statistics....

well yes, thus my running a non-stock radio.

but instead of wasting time flashing and monitering it, i figured i'd cut out the fat. and since Big Jew is just south of me, and has "insider" insite, i'm asking his opinion.
