well after going threw alot of small crysis with my radio on my phone i am running this version 1.03.09V and it works like shit i can not get 4 hours of battery life if i talk and thats not even heavy i thought it was my battery but my friend at sprint gave me a brand new one and plus my signal goes from 0-1 bar all the way up to full and right when i get all warm and fuzy thinking it's all goood it drops to 0-1 again and the battery sucks i'm IN SEATTLE WASINGTON IS THERE ANYONE ELSE HERE THAT CAN GIVE ME A GOOD GAGE ON USEAGE IN THE PACIFIC NORTHWEST ON MY OTHER TP i'm running 1.03.15F and i must say with no doubt this is the best as far as battery wise i talk text and use the web and it's cool as far as battery life but it to has 1-2 bars inside my house where when i first got both TP's they were full bars always in EVO same spot different RADIO CAN ANYONE HELP ME please


AND AGAIN THANKS Goku! for the latenight MSL adive i was stuck and feel hopeless

BUT NOW I'M WIDE OPEN UP AND RUNNING JUST NEED TO FIX THIS RADIO ISSUE

no problem bro i was just having a super f*#)**)#)* crysis and i got help from Goku! so i'm good on that but the radio SUCKS IF I'M IN A MAJOR AREA ITS GOOD (LIKE DOWNTOWN SEATTLE WHERE THERE ARE LOTS OF TOWERS but when i hit the ohter parts of the city the signal takes a nose dive so i found this thread i read it all through and now when i hit the links it just trys to load forever but nothing happens can you help as i am stressing bad

NO LUCK FOR ME I RAN THE SPRINT 1.11 AND ALMOST INSTANTLY IT START LOCKING UP AND FREEZING SO I DUMPED THAT ONE AND RAN THE VERIZON 1.03 STILL NO LUCK I CAN NOT ANYTHING SOLID UNLESS I AM OUTSIDE AND I DONT LIVE IN A BASEMENT SO I AM JUST STUMP ON WHY MY TP WILL NOT GET GOOS SIGNAL WHEN IT HAD THE STOCK RADIO I TESTED THE RADIO I WENT UP TO MY MOMS AND DOWNLOADED A FILE AND IT TOOK 28 MINUTES(cant remember the file size) BUT I DOWNLOADED THE SAME FILE HERE IN DOWNTOWN TACOMA WHERE I LIVE IT DOWNLOADED IN 3 MINUTES

FOR EXAMPLE IF I WATCH A ONLINE MOVIE ( PHONE AS MODEM) IT JUST KEEPS BUFFERING BUT IF I USE MY V950 RENEGADE IT BLAST THREW AND NEVER BUFFERS CAN SOMEONE TELL ME WHAT TO DO AS I HAVE TRIED 4 RADIOS

IS THERE ANYONE IN SEATTLE/TACOMA WASHINGTON
WITH GOOD RADIO RESULTS

I think you need a new caps lock key :P

Anyways the touch pro (at least in my opinion) seems to get poorer reception than other phones.(my gfs touch at my house seems to connect better to EVDO than my touch pro which bounces from 1X and EVDO)

All you can do is try the different radios and if they dont help, well your out of luck.

are you anywhere close to seattle or know anyone here and also do you know the stock radio numbers for the sprint TP

im in the N. Texas area... tried with allmost every newer radios... verizon .03.09 was the closest to sprint's V1.11...
vzw data speed=844kb/s
sprint data speed=1010kb/s
thought it would help those from the area.......

just quick question, whats a bandwidth ?? coz i just did a speed test again n it says that my bandwidth reading is like 10.45Mbps ....... that can not be data speed rite ??? so what is that... rite after that it says that i can download at 1.31 Mbps.....

well i finally hit pay dirt and i hope it holds up as i have been having the radio BLUES
i flashed to the verizon wireless 1.03.09V and right away i see the difference as now
on the low end i have two solid bars but on the high end it's full bars i did a few speed test as i am running the sprint 1.00.4 on my other TP and this VZW one is killing it also my battery has been holding really good and ive been on the phone and texting all day long and doing test like DASH did on when he lined up the PALM PRE NEXT to the TOUCH PRO so i did and i tested it
how fast they load the sights the verizon is faster and i hope i'm finally home anyway thanks to all you guys here at AMJ for the help also bug ups to DASH! for the MOD and GOKU! for the latenight MSL UNLOCKING HELP

yeah goku is the shit and i have seen him go from noob to knowing what he is talking about in a short period of time like many of the other staff members here.... nice to see and know how a teacher or coach must feel..... but anyways glad you found yourself a good working radio for your area and enjoy it now :)

i'm sprung this radio is good and i'm learning alot from this site thanks to all and i want to thank you again for the mod

i unlocked my phone which was very easy. tried to install sprint raphael radio v1.11.00f it give me a error code of 244 invalid model id.

i currently have the sprint raphael radio v1.03.15f its what came with my phone any suggestion and is there any better radios than the sprint radios.

I remember getting that error code when I unlocked my phone with the wrong unlocker, so make sure you are using the right unlocker and then flash to the radio of your choice, you shouldn't have any problems after that.

i used the Touch Pro (Raphael) HSPL Unlocker .37 to unlock my phone it said it worked even when i check it with the bootloader it says unlocked.

but may it still not be unlocked?

when your in bootloader mode can you tell me what it says on the upper left of the screen? like all the lines if possible.

mmmmm what type of file is it that you are flashing is it an exe or is it the RUU. if it is the RUU are you sure that you are using that RUU only for the nbh file correct?
